perfect for easy listening.  Welcome to Kanye’s Soul Mix Show is a mixtape Kanye and A-Trak put together back in ’06.  It features the original tracks he sampled when he was just getting started as an emcee and producer.  it’s filled with some of the greats that he’s sampled over the years such as Curtis Mayfield, Nina Simone and Marvin Gaye. if you’re like me and love matching samples to songs, this is the perfect tape for you.   It also includes a bit of commentary from Kanye on each song and his raw emotions behind the samples.

definitely one of my favorite tapes from him. perfect for any music lover.  Amazing to say the least.
